Shaka Dog Hawaii is now offering "Hound Collars"
also known as "Tapered Martingales" or "Lurchers".
We are currently able to make these up to 13". If you need a larger size, please contact us for availability and pricing. These are 1 1/2" wide, and taper down to 1/2". A colorful trim of your choice is sewn onto a strong nylon webbing
and we finish them off with a thick and soft fleece lining.
*Hound Collar:
Here is an example of a regular Hound Collar.
It is not adjustable and slides on and off over the head.
Measurements must be very accurate for a proper fit.
*Hound Collar Adjustable:
Here is an example of an Adjustable Hound Collar.
These collars are mainly used for going on walks.
The loop has a beaded metal slide which you loosen to put on over the head and tighten for a perfect fit.
*Hound Collar w/Buckle:
Here is an example of a Hound Collar w/Buckle.
This style slides over the head; the loop has a buckle which makes it easier to put on and take off.
We sew a D-ring on both sides of the buckle for extra safety.
*Hound Collar/Lead:
Here is an example of an all-in-one Hound Collar/Lead.
It is quick and easy to put on and take off. Great for those quick outings. Available in 3, 4, & 5 ft lengths.
